Clear and simple rules to help you understand when cancellation is free and how refunds work.

When Is Cancellation Free?

We understand that plans can change. FireRide offers free cancellation under these conditions:

Free within 2 minutes: You can cancel your ride for free within the first 2 minutes after booking.
After the captain is on the way: If you cancel after the captain has already traveled a long distance toward your pickup, a small cancellation fee of ₹10 to ₹30 may be charged.

Refund Policy

FireRide ensures that you are only charged for completed rides. However, in rare cases, an issue may occur. In such situations, refunds are processed as follows:

If you paid online but the captain did not arrive: You will receive a 100% refund.
If the app crashed and payment was deducted: A 100% refund will be processed.
Refund timelines: Refunds typically take 5 to 7 business days to reflect in your bank account or UPI source.
