These rules help ensure smooth, transparent, and fair payments for both Riders and Captains.

Fair & Transparent Payments

FireRide ensures that every ride ends with clear and accurate billing. Please follow the guidelines below to avoid confusion or disputes during payments.

Exact Fare

Riders must pay the exact fare shown on the Captain's app at the end of the trip. This fare is final and includes distance, time, and applicable charges.

Change & Small Cash

For Riders: Please try to carry exact change, especially for short-distance rides.
For Captains: You must return any remaining balance to the rider without argument.

Waiting Charges

If a Captain waits for more than 5 minutes, additional waiting charges are automatically added to the final fare. These charges are calculated by the FireRide system and cannot be removed manually.

Online Payment Rules

UPI Payments: If you pay using UPI inside the FireRide app, do not pay cash again to the captain.
Online payments update automatically in the system — no extra manual payment is needed.
